VIDEO: Remembering Aubrey McClendon’s impact on OKCPS

A former Oklahoma City Public Schools student, Aubrey McClendon has been one of the most important individuals in the community’s recent history as a pioneer in the shale revolution, founder of Chesapeake Energy and American Energy Partners, and a major donor to philanthropic organizations across the region. McClendon was pronounced dead on March 2, 2016, following a car accident in Oklahoma City. The above video highlights McClendon’s legacy in the city when he was inducted into the OKCPS Wall of Fame in 2011.
