Carnegie Mellon University has created the Open Learning Initiative, which hosts a variety of free online courses. Course options include such offerings as statistics, biology, chemistry, economics, French and physics.

Online registration is optional.


MIT OpenCourseWare
1800 free online courses are available in a variety of subject areas. Free lecture notes, exams, and videos are available from MIT.

No registration is required.


Tufts OpenCourseWare
Tufts University offers a variety of courses in science, medicine, agriculture, public policy, physics among many other subjects.

No registration is required.


UC Berkeley Webcasts
Hundreds of UC Berkley courses are available as podcasts and webcasts. Course options include such offerings as astronomy, biology, chemistry, computer programming, engineering, psychology, legal studies and philosophy.

UC Irvine OpenCourseWare
The University of California,Irvine offers a variety of online courses in business, finance, and medicine.

In addition, UC Irvine offers online high school courses. UC Irvine, in partnership with University of California College Prep (UCCP), is committed to providing high-quality online courses to benefit students preparing for college eligibility.
