Valuable Volunteer Nomination
(formerly Terrific Tutor)

The Valuable Volunteer Award is presented annually to volunteers who have shown outstanding dedication and commitment to students and quality education in Oklahoma City Public Schools.  

Eligibility: Volunteers may include tutors, mentors, PTA, Watch Dogs, etc…  Certified school personnel, or other individuals that are employed by the School District, are not eligible for this award.  Paid tutors are not eligible for this award, except for Foster Grandparents and tutors who receive a work-study stipend.

Number of Awards: Up to six; no monetary award given

Valuable Volunteer Awards will be presented at Stars of Education in Spring 2009. The nomination period has closed. The Valuable Awards are presented annually. Check back to this site the Summer of 2009 for next nomination period.
