Super Support Staff Nomination
Super Support Staff Awards are presented annually to recognize and reward non-certified personnel who provide outstanding support and who have positively impacted students and enabled schools to provide the best educational experience possible. Anyone may nominate a support staff employee for this award.
Eligibility: Non-certified employees of the Oklahoma City Public Schools who work in one of the following areas may be nominated:
- Operations/Maintenance/Custodial
- Instructional/Media Assistants
- Food Service
- Transportation/Vehicle Maintenance
- Clerical
- School Resource Officers/Security
Number of Awards: Up to Five
Amount of Award: $500.00 each awarded to the nominees

Instructions
- Complete the online nomination. Must be received by 4:30 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2011.
- Submit one additional Letter of Recommendation. The Letter of Recommendation should be provided by someone other than the person nominating the employee. Additionally, the recommendation should be submitted on up to two, 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper (completed on a typewriter, printed from a computer, or written with a blue or black
pen). Please do not exceed page count.
The Letter of Recommendation should address the following:
- How long have you known the nominee and in what capacity?
- How does this nominee exceed the expected demands of his/her position?
- What makes this nominee stand out?
The Letter of Recommendation may be mailed or faxed to the Foundation and must be received by the deadline (in the Foundation office no later than 4:30 p.m., Friday, January 7 2011).
