Oklahoma City RedHawks’ "Catch a Dream" Scholarship for Scholar Athletes

The Oklahoma City RedHawks' "Catch a Dream" Scholarship for Scholar Athletes rewards student athletes that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to their school-sponsored athletic teams, as well as, demonstrated excellence in their academic pursuits. The Oklahoma City RedHawks are a minor league baseball team that plays in the Pacific Coast League. The Redhawks are the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers.

Eligibility:

• Must be an Oklahoma City Public Schools High School Senior graduating in 2009
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
  
• Must have participated for 4 years on a school-sponsored athletic team
  
• Must have lettered in an athletic program
  
• Must attend a four-year Oklahoma public or private university
  

Number of Awards: Two

Amount of Award: $2,500.00

Oklahoma City RedHawks’ "Catch a Dream" Scholarship for Scholar Athletes
will be presented at Stars of Education in Spring 2009. The application period for the 2009 Scholarship has closed.
