Team America Rocketry Challenge
Challenge to launch a hand-made model rocket and achieve a score qualifying the contestant for the final competition. The 2008 challenge was to build and fly a model rocket that reaches 750 feet while remaining aloft for 45 seconds, returning the payload of two raw eggs to the ground unbroken.

A Global Study of Wildlife Migration and Seasonal Change
Through the Journey North Program, (K-5, 6-12) students and teachers study wildlife migration and seasonal change. Students track the coming of seasons through the migration patterns of certain animals and share their field observations with other students across the US. Migration maps, pictures, standards-based lesson plans, activities and information are available to help students and teachers through their journey of discovery.

A Virtual Journey into the Universe
An interative journey into outerspace, this Think Quest site allows students (K-5, 6-12) to learn about space in a fun way. Exploration, surface, interior, and satellites sections are available for each planet. Additionally, students may learn from educational games and informational animations about each planet.
