The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes
The award honors "outstanding young leaders who have made a significant positive difference to people and our planet." Nominees may range in age from 8 to 18 years old. Winners receive $2,000 to be applied to higher education or the winner's service project.

Young Scholars
Through this program, the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation selects high-achieving youth with financial need and provides them with individualized educational opportunities and support, throughout high school, that will enable them to develop their talents and abilities. The Foundation awards approximately 70 of these scholarships each year. The Young Scholars Program is one of the most individualized scholarships offered in the US.*
